Jeg elsker kogebøger, jeg elsker at læse mad-blogs, jeg elsker at surfe derude på nettet og støve opskrifter op, som jeg enten ikke kender, eller måske har glemt.Mange af mine kogebøger er købt hos Amazon, og derfor på engelsk med alt hvad det indebærer af "mærkelige" mål-enheder!
Jeg har deciliter-mål, der også viser cups, men altså ikke 1/6 cup, som var med i dagens bageopskrift, og når der så også blandes ounces ind i det, så må jeg hen og slå op et sted, for jeg kan aldrig huske det, når jeg står i det med fedtet dej op til albuerne...
I dag så jeg mig lun på et lækkert chokolade- og hasselnøddebrød hos Our Patisserie, jeg var nødt til at bage lige præcis dét, selv om det nu lignede vores gammelkendte cacaobrød fra en Karoline-bog, men her hos de bagende damer var der bare en lækker krymmel ovenpå, og den måtte prøves!
Opskriften blev oversat, og for en gangs skyld skrevet ned, for allerede mens jeg læste den igennem, kunne jeg "smage" at dette her ville blive en genganger.Der blev æltet, hæves, smuldret, smurt og bagt, og nu er det spist, næsten!
Jeg må ha' lavet mig en lille lamineret seddel til køkkenskuffen med mel, sukker og sådan omregnet fra cups til deciliter og gram, det ville være en nyttig ting at ha'...
Arla har vist en oversigt med mål til at printe ud og www.americana.dk - det er de sider, jeg har mine "oversættelser" fra. Den kage vil jeg gerne bage! Mums - send lige et stykke herover til aftenteen!

Jeg har iøvrigt en mistanke om, at vandindholdet i US og DK smør er forskelligt, amerikansk mel indeholder en hel del mere gluten end dansk, US chokolade har mere sukker og mindre cacao og så kommer de f.... sukker i kokosmelet.
Nå ja der er forskel på pint og gallon i USA og UK...
Nu når du får åbnet din søbredscafé, må du da absolut starte fra en ende af med opskrifterne fra den linkede blog, -det er da helt vildt så lækkert man kan få ting til at se ud på billeder. Tak for henvisningen, siden vil blive nøje gransket!
